Fred L. Young, 65, of 3365 Durst Clagg Road, Cortland, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 8, 1998, in his home, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Young had resided in Cortland since 1963 and worked for 25 years as a tool and die maker at American Welding in Warren, Ohio, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4793 and James T. Farrell American Legion Post 330, both in Waynesburg. Mr. Young enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, camping and traveling.
