Bernard B. Kobosky, 93, of 239 Spruce Street, Canonsburg, died Monday, December 7, 1998. Mr. Kobosky spent most of his life in Canonsburg, where he served on Canonsburg Borough Council from 1941 until 1953, and was a member of St. Genevieve Church. Prior to his retirement in 1974, Mr. Kobosky was a baker at the Washington County Home for 45 years. On February 5, 1930, in St. Genevieve Church, he married Mary Oshinski Kobosky, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Dr. Bernard J. Kobosky of Pittsburgh; a brother, Kenneth Kobosky of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Janet Kobosky and Bernard J. Kobosky Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three sisters, Sophia Gorby, Helen Burnette and Charlotte Lear.
