Genevieve B. Wise, 80, of Washington, died Monday, February 9, 1998, in Washington Hospital following a one-week illness. Mrs. Wise was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Washington. She attended Trinity schools, and worked for Metro Glass Co., retiring in 1978. Following her retirement, she worked as a nursing assistant at Presbyterian Senior Care for the next 13 years. On July 16, 1937, in Oakland, Md., she married Clyde C. Wise, who died November 22, 1980. Surviving are two daughters, Janice K. Sten of Washington and Linda L. Sproat of Prosperity; two sisters, Madlyn V. Bebout and Evelyn M. Vandever, both of Washington; four grandchildren, D.L. and Stacy Lyn Sten and Bryan J. and Abby Lyn Sproat; and several nieces and nephews.
