Walter Haught, 77, of Washington, died Friday, February 13, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Haught attended Washington schools. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the maintenance department of the Observer-Reporter newspaper. He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. During World War II, he served as a military policeman in the U.S. Army. Surviving are a son, Randy Haught of Richeyville; a brother, Raymond Haught of Washington; three sisters, Ruth Russell and Grace Rathbone, both of Houston, and Edna Collar of Canonsburg; a grandson, Tyler Haught; and several nieces and nephews.
