Hazel Marie Stewart Blaker, 87, of Waynesburg R.D.4, died at 4 a.m. Monday, February 16, 1998, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, R.D.2, after an eight-month illness. Mrs. Blaker lived in Greene County her entire life where she was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm. She was a member of Spraggs United Methodist Church and a member of the Daughters of American Revolution. On January 18, 1930, she married Paul C. Blaker, who died May 31, 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Janet Mawhinney of Waynesburg R.D.2; a son, Donley Paul Blaker of Branson, Mo.; six grandchildren, Jennifer and Susan Mawhinney, Douglas Blaker, Patty Lewis, Pam Blaker Spirnok and Joe Minor; and three great-grandchildren.
