Benjamin "Frank" Gray, 75, of Wind Ridge, died at 5:01 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 1998, in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W.Va., following a lengthy illness. Mr. Gray was Baptist and resided in the Wind Ridge area all his life.. He was a veteran of World War II where he served as a corporal in the U.S. Army with the 817th Tank Battalion. He was a 1941 graduate of Richhill Township High School and was a member of the Wind Ridge VFW. Mr. Gray was employed as a machinist at the former Liggett Spring and Axle Company in Monongahela for 29 years prior to his retirement in January 1976, and since 1981 had been the owner, with his wife, of Patty's Place in Cameron, W.Va. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Bridges Gray, whom he married November 10, 1946; a son, Thomas Frank Gray of Cameron; four daughters, Rose Marie Dobbs of Wind Ridge R.D. 1, Suzanne Beresford of Moundsville, W.Va., Cindy Watson of Wind Ridge and Cathy Lucey of Cameron; a brother, Walter T.
