Shirley J. Smith, 65, of McMurray, died Saturday, January 31, 1998, at her home. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Peters Creek United Presbyterian Church, Venetia. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Clark H. Smith; three sons, Douglas E. Southard of Finleyville, Clark B. Smith of North Potomac, Md., and Steven G. Smith of Coral Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Margaret E. Smith of Germantown, Md.; and three grandsons, Matthew Smith, Mark Southard and Nicholas A. Smith.
