Ernestine L. "Tennie" Holmok, 80, of South Orange, N.J., formerly of Monongahela, died Thursday, February 19, 1998, in Overlook Hospital, Summit, N.J. Mrs. Holmok was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, South Orange, and a former member of Transfiguration Church, Monongahela. She taught special education and elementary grades in Monongahela School District before moving to South Orange, where she continued teaching special education. Surviving are two daughters, Loretta Holmock of South Orange and Celeste Reardon of Lincoln, N.H.; three grandchildren, Kyle, Hillary and Travis Reardon; two sisters, Ann Cupper of Belle Vernon and Bessie Polaski of Monongahela; Deceased are her husband, William Holmok, who died in 1993; a brother, Joseph Matuga; and a sister, Margaret Kortina.
