She was born June 24, 1938, in Finleyville, a daughter of Anna K. Coon of Finleyville and the late Joseph Huziak. Private services were held for Verona K. Large, 59, of Forward Township, Monongahela, who died Thursday, February 19, 1998, at Highlands Hospital in Connellsville.
Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Large, with whom she celebrated 42 years of marriage on January 18; two daughters, Lynn Mitchell of Charleroi and Kimberly Barker of Monongahela; a son, Charles J. Large, at home; two grandchildren, Ian and Erica Mitchell; three sisters, Nancy Milligan of Finleyville, Ann Calvert of Waynesburg and Lillian Mastericola of Florida.
