Kenneth E. Penvose, 51, of Houston, died Thursday, February 26, 1998, at Forbes Hospice Care, Pittsburgh, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Penvose was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Houston. He was a 1965 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and a graduate of Voluscia County Community College, Daytona Beach, Fla. He had worked as a welder for Hillman Barge Co. and the former Pennsylvania Transformer before becoming disabled. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post 902, Houston. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Michael of Frankfort, Germany; four brothers, Raymond G. Penvose of Greensboro, N.C., Clarence Penvose of Washington, Robert Penvose of Houston and Wayne Penvose of Bellaire, Ohio; four sisters, Marjorie Reynolds of Vandergrift, Jean Dubois and Mildred Orbin, both of Houston and Linda Penvose of Horsham.
