Ruth G. Bland, 75, of 241 Neff Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio, died Sunday, February 1, 1998, at the Belmont Community Hospital in Bellaire, Ohio. She was a retired pharmacist with the former Cavalier Pharmacy of Powhatan Point and the former Duvalls Pharmacy of Bellaire. She was a Presbyterian and a member of the Powhatan Senior Citizens. Surviving are three nieces, Carol Cunningham of Steubenville, Susan Rogers of Mentor, Ohio, and Jane Rogers of Philadelphia. Two sisters, Thelma Cunningham and Catherine Rogers, are deceased. Interment will be at the convenience at the family in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
