Helen Stacko Kolesar, 82, of Avella, died at 3:58 p.m. Monday, February 2, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Kolesar lived all her life in Avella. On September 2, 1946, she married Nick Kolesar, who survives. Also surviving are a son, William D. Kolesar of West Middletown; a daughter, Maryanne Kolesar of Sumter, S.C.; a grandson, Wink Kolesar of West Middletown; and a sister, Johanna Goverman of Pittsburgh. Deceased are a son, Robert Wayne Kolesar, who died in 1950; two sisters, Mary Taylor and Margaret Goverman; five brothers, John, Stephen, George, William and Albert Stacko.
