James William Yancheck, 51, of Seattle, Wash., formerly of Carmichaels, died of a heart attack Tuesday, February 3, 1998, in Seattle. Mr. Yancheck was an engineer on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Ship Rainier and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Surviving are three daughters, Audra, Tara and Jayma Yancheck all of Seattle; a grandson, Zachary Yancheck; and a sister, Carol Taylor of Kansas City, Mo. Deceased is a brother, John Pevic.
