Charles B. Ross, 90, of Garards Fort, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Mr. Ross worked as a farmer, trucker and coal miner and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of John Corbly Memorial Baptist Church in Garards Fort, and a member and past master of Dunkard Grange. His wife, Dollie Ramsey Ross, died in 1992. Surviving are two sons, John Ross of Greensboro and Charles T. Ross of Garards Fort; three daughters, Nancy Marie Geary of Bentleyville, Doris Kalasky of Carmichaels and Sandy Wemmitt of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leanna McGill of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Alice Steele of Washington state. Deceased are two sons, Ralph and Michael L. Ross; a grandson, Joseph Ross; six sisters, Neva Cummins, Alta Donley, Sara Wade, Idesta Stoneking, Grace Cree and Mary Korman; and a brother, Ralph Ross.
