Mabel A. Myers, 85, of West Pike Street, Houston, died Saturday, February 7, 1998, in Washington County Health Center. Mrs. Myers was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Houston, a member of Houston Senior Citizens, Chartiers Houston Library, Friends of the Library and the McMurray Women's Club. She was a retired seamstress for Mayview State Hospital where she continued to do volunteer work. On May 21, 1937, she married James M. Myers, who died December 17, 1960. Surviving are a son, John R. Myers of Washington; five grandchildren, Joylene Riggle, John E. Myers, Ronald J. Myers, Robert P. Myers and Brian S. Myers; and three great-grandchildren.
