George Raymond (Ray) Bosworth, 80 of New Port Richey, Fla., died Wednesday, January 7, 1998, at Munroe Regional Hospital in Ocala, Fla.
He was a machinist for Washington Steel Corp. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member or the Model Airplane Builders of Pittsburgh.
He spent most of his life in Washington, moving to Florida 15 years ago.
On April 7, 1939, in Washington, he married Bette Kraus, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Betsie B. Smith of Little River, S.C.; three grandchildren, Billy Raymond and Brett G. Moninger, both of Washington and Bobbi M. Ciardella of Little River; and four great-grandchildren.
