George W. Eppler Jr., 70, of Eighty Four, died Saturday, January 10, 1998, in Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
Mr. Eppler was a longtime resident of Eighty Four, where he and his wife owned and operated the family farm. He attended Waynesburg College and was a U.S. Navy veteran during World War II, serving on a mine sweeper. He retired as a mechanic from Millcraft Industries, Washington.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Eppler, with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage on December 4, 1997.
