Elizabeth Ann McCardle, 84, a resident of Greenwood Methodist Home, Greenwood, S.C., formerly of Allison Avenue, Washington, died Saturday, January 10, 1998, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
Miss McCardle received her graduate degree from Penn State University and taught third grade in the 7th Ward School for many years.
Although she had made her home in Savannah, Ga., and Greenwood since 1985, Miss McCardle kept her membership in West Washington United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Sophia Morris of Greenwood, Ruth Carlock of Due West, S.C., and Mary Lappe of Washington; and a brother, Thomas McCardle of New Windsor, N.Y.
