Mary E. Stoneking, 71, of Sixth Avenue, New Eagle, died Saturday, January 10, 1998, in Washington County Health Center, Washington.
Mrs. Stoneking lived most of her life in New Eagle, was formerly of the Zelionople area and attended the Mars Area High School
She was a member of First Christian Church of Monongahela and its Christian Women's Fellowship.
Mrs. Stoneking was active in Cub Scouts for more than 13 years, serving as den mother and committee member and chairperson for Pack 1446, which met at First United Methodist Church of Monongahela.
Surviving are her husband, Robert T. Stoneking, with whom she celebrated 45 years of marriage on April 24, 1997; two sons, Robert S. Stoneking and Herbert A. Stoneking, both of New Eagle; a grandson, Ian M. Stoneking; two sisters, Helen Crothers of Portersville and Leona Stasko of Pittsburgh; and a brother, Milton Schaudt of Harmony.
Deceased are a sister, Georgetta Schaudt; and two brothers, John and Edward Schaudt.
