Word has been received of the death of Frances Shuba Tremmel, 67, of East Brunswick, N.J., who died December 30, 1997, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division.
Mrs. Tremmel was coordinator for the Scarlet R Foundation at Rutgers University for 22 years and also served four years in the Air Force.
Surviving are her husband, Lawrence J.; two sons, Kevin of Atlanta, Ga., and Larry J. Jr. of East Brunswick; a daughter, Denise Tremmel Cobos of Atlanta; two brothers, Stanley Shuba and Edward Shuba, both of Houston; and a granddaughter, Nicole Tremmel.
Deceased are two sisters, Mary Grudevich and Anna Shuba.
Burial was January 3, 1998, in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick.

She was born October 5, 1930, in Glen Dale, W.Va., a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Shuba. She had lived in East Brunswick since 1969.
