Helen S. Bovetsky, 83, of Ellsworth, died Friday, January 16, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born June 26, 1915, in Wendel, a daughter, of Walter Shumsky and Anna Lokach Shumsky.
She was a cook at the former County Kitchen in Bentleyville, and was a member of Ave Maria Parish - St. Clement's Church, Ellsworth.
On July 29, 1973, she married John S. "Spike" Bovetsky, who died March 26, 1997.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Rosemarie Sicchitano of Washington; and a stepson, Ronald J. Bovetsky of Dover, Ohio.
Deceased are her first husband, Lawrence Capobianco, who died December 3, 1965; a stepdaughter, Patricia Laubham; two brothers, Tony and Edward Shumsky; and two sisters, Mary Mehelick and Billie Shumsky.
