H. Wilma Hancher, 82, of Baird Avenue, Washington, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, January 18, 1998, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. Mrs. Hancher was a resident of Washington for 60 years, and was Protestant. She was a graduate of Trinity High School and was last employed by G.C. Murphy's in Washington, and was a homemaker. On August 20, 1934, she married Harry C. Hancher Sr., who died January 24, 1978. Surviving are two sons, James W. Hancher of Washington and Harry C. Hancher Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Mark Hancher, Marla Nicolella, Matthew Hancher, Mitchell Hancher, Shawn Hancher, Stacy Shad, Keith Hancher, Harry Hancher III, Kathy Blose, Michael Barber and Tracy Barber; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
