Helen Elizabeth Piskura, also known as Mary Helen Piskura, 86, of S Bridge Road, Buffalo Township, formerly of Stratford, Conn., died at 10:12 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 1998, in Washington Hospital following a lenghty illness. Mrs. Piskura was a former employee of Sikorsky Aircraft before becoming a fulltime homemaker. She was Catholic. Her husband, John Joseph Piskura Sr., died in May 1972. Surviving are four daughters, Betty Nickles of Woodsville, N.H., Mary Hakey of Shelton, Conn., Frances Hadden, with whom she made her home, and Stephanie Saffo, also of Woodsville; a brother, Robert Mihaley of Stratford; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, John Joseph Piskura Jr.; three brothers, Joseph, Matthew and John Mihaley; and a sister, Anna Mihaley. There will be no local visitation.
