Robert M. McKee Sr., 87, of 524 Hutchinson Avenue, Canonsburg, died Sunday, January 18, 1998, at South Hills Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg. Mr. McKee was a 1928 graduate of Canonsburg High School and was a retired design engineer for the former Fort Pitt Bridge Works of Canonsburg. He was a past member of Canonsburg Borough Council and served on the planning commission. He was also treasurer of the Greater Canonsburg Public Library board of directors for many years. On September 14, 1935, he married Mary K. Deemer, who died September 5, 1988. Surviving are two daughters, Katherine McKee of Canonsburg and Mary Margaret Walz of Menlo Park, Calif.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Deceased are a son, Robert M.
