Daniel M. Checca, 73, of Peters Township, died Monday, January 19, 1998, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mr. Checca was a member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church, McMurray. Surviving are his wife, Antoinette "Toni" Checca; a son, Dennis P. Checca of New York; a daughter, Julianne Murphy of The Netherlands; three grandchildren, Sean M. Murphy and Daniel X. and James P. Checca; two brothers, Frank P. and Gilio "Ted" Checca, both of Cecil; a sister, Quesilda Deliere of Cecil; and numerous nieces and nephews.
