Audrey June Thompson, 67, of Route 136, Washington, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday, January 19, 1998, in her home. She had been ill since April 1997. A homemaker, Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Fourth Presbyterian Church; was a 1950 graduate of Trinity High School; and served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 until 1960. She also served in the Korean War. In 1960 she married William John Thompson, who survives. Also surviving, are a daughter, Kimberly Joann Sterling of Eighty Four; three sisters, Juanita Theresa Ward of Washington, Idella Brown of Jonesboro, Ga., and Ethel Mae Chappo of Washington; and two grandchildren, Alyviaand Brandon Sterling. Deceased are two sisters, Marvene Davis and Mary Margaret Anderson; two brothers, Alfred and Glenn Davis; and two siblings who died in infancy.
