Word has been received of the death of Mary Ester Stetson Greene, 72, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Washington, who died January 11, 1998, of heart failure. Mrs. Greene was a member of Washington Senior Citizens Center and Calvary Temple of Washington. Her husband, William Greene, is deceased. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Greene Fuchs of Washington; a son, John Greene of Arizona; four grandchildren, Heather Greene, Christopher Greene, Kim Fuchs and Ken Fuchs; three great-granddaughters; two brothers, Joseph Stetson of Washington and William Stetson of Florida; and a sister, Alice Stetson Call of Washington. Deceased are 13 siblings. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, at the Calvary Temple.
