Stephen Drazich, 76, of Avella, died Friday, January 23, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Drazich was employed by Dick Corp. in Shippingport. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Slovan Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his wife, Rose Shaffer Drazich; two sons, Michael D. Drazich of Avella and Steve Drazich of Cecil; two daughters, Renee Simpson of Cherry Valley and Marcy Drazich of Avella; a brother, George Drazick of Slovan; a sister, Ann Butler of Weirton, W.Va.; and seven grandchildren. Deceased are five brothers, Joe, Nick, Mike, Milan and Donald Drazich; and two sisters, Mildred Ellison and Sophie Radacoy.
