Moynelle M. Hollaway, 96, of Avella, died at 6:58 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 1998, in Weirton (W.Va.) Medical Center. On Aug 16, 1917, she married William Thomas Hollaway, who died Februry 13, 1960. Mrs. Hollaway was a resident of Avella since 1917. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Surviving are seven daughters, Moynelle Kern of Avella, Mildred Piatt of Washington, Ruth Nestor of San Diego, Calif., Bertha Thellman of Warren, Ohio, Emilie J. Holler of Rockville, Md., Catherine Griffith of Avella, Sandra Cauvet of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons, William C. Hollaway of Hopedale, Ohio, and Homer C. Holloway of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Hazel Kerr of Cecil and B.E. Kirby of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 39 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are two sons, Henry D. Hollaway and Andrew T. Hollaway; a daughter, Hazel Ann Hollaway; three brothers; and two sisters.
