Leocadia Demski Dayak, 79, of 775 South Central Avenue, Canonsburg, died Saturday, January 24, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Dayak was a lifelong resident of the Canonsburg area. She was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church of Canonsburg. On October 21, 1948, in St. Elizabeth Church in Lawrence, she married George Dayak, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Edward Demski of Lawrence; a sister, Jean Krystinak of Pittsburgh; two sons, Edmund and George J. Dayak, both of Canonsburg; two daughters, Christine Krukowsky of Savannah, Ga., and Kathleen Tedeschi of Canonsburg; seven grandchildren, Tracy Rice, Candice and Tamara Krukowsky, Kerri Bandieramonte, Kristin Dayak, Jessica Walker and Yvonne Tedeschi; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
