Ida Mae McClain, 83, formerly of Houston, died Friday, January 23, 1998, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mrs. McClain was born May 9, 1914, in Canonsburg, a daughter of William and Margaret Rollstin Montgomery. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Houston. Surviving are a daughter, Karen M. Metcalf of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren, Ian, Timothy and Sarah Metcalf; and a sister, Marguerite Meddings of Houston.
