Rose Lipniskis, 79, of Carmichaels, died Monday, January 26, 1998, in AUMC-Canonsburg. Mrs. Lipniskis lived most of her life in Carmichaels, where she was a member of St. Hughes Church and the Polish National Lodge. She was a homemaker. On December 15, 1940, she married Benjamin Lipniskis, who died July 28, 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Taylor of Canonsburg; two sons, Benedict of Brownsville and James Lipniskis of St. Clairsville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kimberly Bednarski, James, Timothy, Brent and Craig Lipniskis and Jeffrey Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a granddaughter, Susan Taylor, who died August 23, 1993; a sister, Sophie Frinak; and three brothers, Jack, Guffy and Stanley Stoyek. Mrs. Lipniskis was the last of her immediate family.
