Robert J. Bongiorni, 97, of 16 Ten Mile Lane, Scenery Hill, formerly of Cuddy, died at 10:21 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 1998, in Washington Hospital. His wife, Margaret Weir Bongiorni, died in 1971. Surviving are three sons, Walter Weir Sr. of Corry, Michael Bongiorni of San Francisco, Calif., and Patrick Bongiorni of Ashtabula, Ohio; a daughter, Lucretia Matthews of Scenery Hill; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Santina Monaco of Cecil.
