Catherine Mercurio, 84, of Marne Avenue, Monongahela, died Tuesday, January 27, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Mercurio had lived for many years in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was a member of Transfiguration Church of Monongahela and its Altar Rosary-Christian Mothers and a member of the Monongahela Senior Citizens Center. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Mercurio of Copiaque, N. Y., and Richard Mercurio of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Mary Vogt of Monongahela; and two granddaughters, Stephanie and Michelle Mercurio.
