Word has been received of the death of Ruby Thomas, 84, who died December 31, 1997, in Glendale, Calif., after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Surviving are her husband of 68 years, John E. Thomas, and a son, Thom Thomas, both of Los Angeles, Calif.
Prior to moving to California in 1988 she lived in the Thomas-Eighty Four area, where she was a charter member of View Crest Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 11, at View Crest Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Gary Baker officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to View Crest Presbyterian Church, 883 Linden Road, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
