Betty J. Stetson, 74, of Canton Township, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Stetson was a homemaker and had attended Hayes Avenue School as a youth. She was a member of Alpine Bowling League and enjoyed playing bingo. She attended North Buffalo United Presbyterian Church, when her health permitted. On June 16, 1940, she married Charles O. Stetson Sr., who died April 12, 1983. Surviving are a son, Charles O. Stetson Jr., with whom she made her home; a sister, Florence M. Daniels of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are an infant daughter, Sandra Stetson; four brothers, Thomas E.
