Nellie J. Wolford, 80, of Cecil, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at her home. In 1979, she retired from Woodville State Hospital, where she was employed as a psychiatric aide. Mrs. Wolford was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in McDonald. Her husband, James D. Wolford Sr., died February 9, 1980. Surviving are three daughters, Pearl Lee Bushmire of Pittsburgh and Barbara Jean Malachow and Patricia Mae Gillespie, both of Bridgeville; a son, Gerald W. Wolford of Southview; a sister, Betty Levers of Washington; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a son, James D. Wolford Jr.; a granddaughter, Deborah Malachow; two sisters, Clara Fraley and Ruth Mailes; and a brother, Clarence Riggians.
