James H. Pugh, 72, of Jefferson Avenue, Washington, died Wednesday, July 8, 1998, in Washington Hospital, after an illness. Mr. Pugh was Catholic. He attended schools in Pittsburgh and was a veteran of the U.S. Army 47th Infantry. Surviving are cousins, Meryl Lane, Ann Pugh and Joe Mahoney, all of Pittsburgh, and Robert Pugh of Melbourne, Fla. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17, at St. Stephen's Church, Second Avenue, Hazelwood, with interment in Calvary Cemetery, Hazelwood.
