Edna E. Rising, 87, of the Woodlands, Washington, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, died Monday, July 13, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Rising was a member of Lone Pine Christian Church. She was a graduate of East Washington High School and a member of Ruth Chapter 890, Order of Eastern Star in Dormont. Mrs. Rising was a homemaker. On November 30, 1946, in First Lutheran Church, Pittsburgh, she married Harold A. Rising, who died in April 1988. Surviving are a brother, Ray E. Houston of Washington; three sisters, Dorothy Jackson of Washington, Thelma Fowkes of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mona Horne of Lone Pine; and several nieces and nephews.
