Born August 17, 1916, in Franklin Township, she was a daughter of William H. and Ola Bennington Henderson. Her husband, Vernon A. Cummins, is deceased. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Hiltzer of Conneaut Lake, Sue Oliveri of Springfield, Va., and Joanne Small of New Castle, Del.; a son, Ronald Cummins of Conneaut Lake; two brothers, William Henderson of Waynesburg and Earl Henderson of Lillian, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Edith H. Cummins, 81, of Conneaut Lake, formerly of Waynesburg, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, in Spring Manor Nursing Home, Cambridge Springs.
Mrs. Henderson, a homemaker and seamstress, attended Waynesburg College for two years. She was also a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek for more than 55 years.
