John Poulis, 22, of 1171 14th Avenue North, Naples, Fla., formerly of Canonsburg, died at 12:41 a.m., Wednesday July 15, 1998, in Naples Community Hospital, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Naples. He was a resident of Naples for the past 15 years, where he was a member of St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church. He was formerly a resident of Canonsburg, where he was a member of All Saint's Greek Orthodox Church. He graduated from Naples High School, where he played trumpet in the band and enjoyed fishing. He also attended Tampa University. Surviving are one brother, Jim, at home; his maternal grandparents, John M. and Harriet Cosmas Pankas, of Canonsburg; his paternal grandmother, Panorea Poulis, of Athens, Greece, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
