Michael Duran, 81, of Bavington, Bulger, died Saturday, June 27, 1998, in his home. Mr. Duran was a dairy farmer and enjoyed farming all his life. He was one of the founders of the United Dairy Farmers Association. He was a member of Robinson Church of Bavington, where he served as an elder and a trustee and was a member of the Burgettstown Grange 1501. On September 14, 1940, he married Mildred Kramer Duran, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, M.G., Don, Tim, Lloyd and David Duran all of Bulger; 12 grandchildren, Laurie Crawford, Gregory, Joel, Kirk Ryan, Christy Andi, Sam, Dan, Abby Stephen, Ketty, Alex, Traurs and Katelyn; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Duran of Bulger; and a sister, Sue Martin of Bulger.
