Hilda M. Bennett Asaf, 81, of Washington, died Saturday, July 18, 1998, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. Mrs. Asaf was a homemaker, who was a member of Allison Avenue Baptist Church of Washington and was employed by the G.C. Murphy Co. On July 15, 1973, in Washington, she married her second husband, Edward P. Asaf, who died December 5, 1981. Her first husband, Hubert H. Bennett, died April 16, 1966. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Ghrist of Washington; three grandchildren, Kim A. Pierson, Traci I. Ghrist and Robert W. Ghrist Jr.; and two great-grandchildren.
