Irene Matuck, 89, of Ellsworth, died at 1:47 a.m. Monday, July 20, 1998, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington. Mrs. Matuck was Baptist. Surviving are three sons, Richard of Long Beach, Calif., Donald of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Edward W. Matuck of Scenery Hill; four daughters, Carol Short of LaHabra, Calif., Esther Graft of Bentleyville, Marilyn Lammay of Virginia Beach, Va., and Claudia Hamilton of Washington; 30 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband, George M. Matuck, who died June 20, 1978; a son, George Edward Matuck, who died June 23, 1977; a brother, George Strayer; two sisters, Evie Strayer and Esther Morrison Fleger; and a grandson, David Matuck.
