Edward J. Rosmus, 70, of 434 Giffin Avenue, Canonsburg, died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, in AUH-Canonsburg. Mr. Rosmus was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Catholic Church of Canonsburg. Mr. Rosmus was formerly employed at Cytemp Steel Co. of Bridgeville, retiring in 1990. He was a member of P.N.U. Club Branch 116 of Canonsburg and enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting. On May 26, 1951, in St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Canonsburg, he married Betty Sohyda, who survives and with whom he recently celebrated their 47th anniversary. Also surviving are two sons, Dennis "Moose" Rosmus of Canonsburg and Keith Rosmus of Washington; a daughter, Debra Congie of Canonsburg; a sister, Violet Bober of Easton; a brother, Mike Rosmus Sr. of Washington; and four grandchildren, Heather, Gabryel, Joshua and Jessica Rosmus.
