Harry W. Loresch III, 57, of Ossining, N.Y., died Tuesday, July 21, 1998, in Sandy River Plantation, Maine, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Loresch received his education at Poplarville (Miss.) State College and Triangle Technical School in Pittsburgh. Following his education, he accepted a position with Xerox Corp. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, receiving two Purple Hearts, three Distinguished Flying Crosses and the Bronze Star with cluster. Following his military service, he was a helicopter flight instructor in Iran and escaped to Turkey during the fall of Iran. He also was a standardization instruction pilot for the National Guard. He also formed a recruitment firm in Canada known as Total Human Resources, a company dedicated to searching for management employees in the powdered metal industry. Mr. Loresch was a member of AA and the Vietnam Veterans Outreach Center in Wheeling, W.Va. He enjoyed golf, fishing and working on his computers. Surviving are two former wives, Mary Ellen Crouse and Lynne M. Wykowski; two sons, Harry W. Loresch IV of Palm Springs, Calif., and Chad W. Loresch II of Washington; a daughter, Heidi Louise Harrington of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister, Martha Ann "Marty" Loresch Strunk Butler of Weld; and several nephews. He was engaged to be married to Marilee Wein of Ossining, N.Y. Deceased is a sister, Diane Louise Loresch, who died in 1960. Family memorial graveside services will be held in mid-August at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
