Joseph J. Moscovic Jr., 83, of 121 North Central Avenue, Canonsburg, died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, in his home. Mr. Moscovic was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg and a 1934 graduate of Canonsburg High School, where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 42 years as a steel burner for Fort Pitt Bridge Works. He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Labor Temple and S.N.P.J. Lodge of Strabane. Surviving are a son, Richard Moscovic of Clarkston, Mich.; a daughter, Patricia Capiola of Gulfport, Miss.; four brothers, John Moscovic of North Olmstead, Ohio, Steve Moscovic of Buffalo, N.Y., Frank Moscovic of Tonawanda, N.Y., and Tom Moscovic of Cleveland, Ohio; four sisters, Ann Tomsic and Betty Zaken, both of Tonawanda, N.Y., and Mary Tyburski and Dorothy Maslocha, both of Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren, Dr. Richard Capiola, Nancy Laney, Andrew Capiola, and Dean, Derek and Drew Moscovic; and two great-grandchildren.
