James W. Crawford, 90, of South Fayette, died Thursday, July 23, 1998. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Elsie C. Rutan of the state of California and Ellen T. Fair of South Fayette; three brothers, William Crawford of Arizona, Wallace Crawford of Pennsylvania and Eugene Crawford of Ohio; one sister, Mildred Hull of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Linda Vogt and John F. Rutan Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are his wife, Jane R. Crawford; one grandson, Larry Turopolec; three brothers, Oliver, Robert "Red" and Walter "Dutch" Crawford; and three sisters, Leah Miller, Nellie Ritter and Lena Crawford.
