Dorthalene M. Rose, 78, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Thursday, July 23, 1998, in South Hills Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and received her bachelor of science and masters degrees in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She was employed as a nurse at Children's Hospital for 30 years and later worked for Presbyterian Home in Wilkinsburg. She was active in Calvary Lutheran Church in Wilkinsburg. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Deceased are her husband, John Rose; two brothers, William and Charles Suter; six sisters, Edeline Stefl, Naomi Lamb, Bernice Gelstharpe, Alma Suter, Opal Kastner, and Ruby Harmon.
