Andy Wargo, 88, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, July 28, 1998, in Brightwood Nursing Home, Follansbee, W.Va. He was a member of St. Hilary Church of Washington. Mr. Wargo was a retired employee of the city of Washington. He served with the Fifth Army Air Force during World War II and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion in Washington. Surviving are two brothers, Paul Wargo of Wichita, Kan., and Steve Wargo of Follansbee; and two sisters, Helen Dryer of Eldersville and Betty Pratt of New Cumberland, W.Va. He was born June 18, 1910, in Pine Flats, a son of John and Sofia Patrina Wargo.
